Steven Clay Art LLC provides independent art appraisal and advisory services grounded in scholarship, market research, and more than three decades of experience.
Steven Clay is an Accredited Member of both the Appraisers Association of America (AAA) and the International Society of Appraisers (ISA), with specialized expertise in African Art, traditional and contemporary; African American Art; and Postwar, Contemporary, and Emerging Art.
Our practice brings together connoisseurship, rigorous market analysis, and an understanding that works of art exist within larger histories of artists, collectors, institutions, and communities. Appraisal Services:
Steven Clay Art provides thoroughly researched, independently prepared appraisal reports for individual works and collections.
All appraisal assignments are developed in accordance with the current Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and the professional standards and ethical requirements governing accredited personal property appraisers.
